The Training & Placement Cell, Vaagdevi Degree & PG College , Warangal, Telangana state welcomes recruiters for participation in the Campus Recruitment Programme. The Campus Recruitment Programme, organized every year in the penultimate semester of the MBA Programme has successfully met the HR needs of leading recruiters in the past years.
This programme on the one hand facilitates the student to showcase their Management as well as soft skills and gives an opportunity to the recruiters to recruit from this talent pool. The rigors of study at Vaagdevi, coupled with classroom study and balanced exposure to the Industry as well as extracurricular activities on campus through a range of student clubs and societies, brings out the best from the students and prepares them well for challenging leadership roles.

The Institute welcomes and facilitates early Pre-Placement
Talks/Presentations. All Job Notifications along with any other material
provided by the recruiters are displayed on the notice boards.
Student’s details are provided to the recruiters on an excel sheet. Soft
copies of resume’s can also be forwarded, if so required, through
Facilities at Campus Visit
The institute takes pride in arranging the best hospitality for the recruitment team from arranging travel, local travel, stay, local sightseeing etc. The Institute’s auditorium / seminar halls are well equipped with the audio-visual facilities for presentations.
Adequate space is provided for the written tests that are a part of the selection process. Large halls with every convenience are kept ready solely for this purpose. For online tests computer labs, fully networked and connected to Internet. 150 students can take the online test at one time. The campus has well designed rooms for conducting GD’s & Interviews.
A dedicated team of faculty & placement coordinators actively support the campus recruitment process.
Placement NormsPlacement facility is available to all students. Once the placement process is initiated the students may attend the presentations made by different organizations and accordingly make their decision to attend the respective selection process. Director/Placement office takes the responsibility of centrally receiving all offer letters, distribution of the same as well as sending the acceptance letters to the companies

All the students are required to undertake a summer project between their second and third semesters. The duration of the project study is 6 weeks. The summer project deals with a significant aspect of a managerial problem of an organization. It provides an opportunity to the students to observe the business operations and gives an insight into management practices. During the second year the summer project report has to be submitted by the student for its evaluation. The students are guided by the faculty member is completing their project work.

Training's (Soft Skills)
Apart from the academics, employability skills are important for being considered in the Corporate, Understanding that, Soft Skills training has been introduced for improving the personality of the students. The program includes 80 Hours of training covering topics like self-Introduction, communication skills, interpersonal skills, behavioral etiquette's, resume writing, portal access, writing cover-letters, group dynamics, team work, body language, selling skills, presentation skills, confidence building etc.
A separate Student Development Cell is established under the guidance of Director – MBA Programme. The Calendar related to training is designed by the Training and Placement Cell. Training sessions are conducted to students by the placement coordinator and faculty. Trainers from corporate are also invited to impart skills in students. These skills empower them to understand "Who they are" and how best they can come across as competent individuals in any given situation.
